Houseplant Horror

This is a fan VN inspired by the commentary on Shiori Novella's watch-along of "Little Shop of Horrors" (1961). The game suggested in the stream would've been more like a clicker from what I could tell, but she also mentioned specific "endings" which made me think of a something more story-focused. I also tried to make this fit her lore and theming, while still using the basic premise of that movie.

Tap left ctrl if you need to skip. It's skips really quickly though, so be careful. There's 5 endings.

The downloadable file is literally the same as what's playing above, though the exact text spacing is different when reading in the offline version because of issues when converting to HTML/JS/Wasm. It's also open-source in case anyone else might want to use it for a similar project (free-to-use, no attribution required).

Update: 

Recently noticed a comment on another fan work saying that game pages need to list email address if the work is to be streamed, so just in case someone actually wants to stream this, I'll go ahead and post mine. I'd be a bit worried if Shiori actually did so though, since she's mentioned having a weak voice. Feel free to also use this if you want to re-use the code for your own fanfic, so I can send an explanation of how the scripting works and what parts of the lua code would need changing to accommodate your images, music and choice flags.
